According to NEWS.COM, Microsoft showed off Microsoft Office 98 for the Mac. This is very nice except that Access, the database manager, will not be a part of the suite which is crippling especially for scientific and business Mac users. Microsoft also posted a beta version of Word 97-98 Import Converter which allows MS Word 5.x and 6.x to translate files written by the Windows version of MS Office's Word 97.
