According to NEWS.COM there is a serious security bug in Macintosh RunTime Java v1.5. Using MRJ 1.5 with Cyberdog on the internet allows the downloading of vicious applets that can damage the system file, etc., if any are encountered which is highly unlikely. Still, Apple is supposed to post a patch today and MRJ 2.0 is supposed to be fixed when it is releasaed with Mac OS 8.1. No worries if you use Netscape.
