From the Darkside: Microsoft attacks its online supporters according to a NEWS.COM story. Microsoft's attorneys' latest attack came against the non-profit www.windows.net, reportedly dedicated to helping Windows NT users properly configure and use their software. Prior attacks were launched against sites using the "NT" letters. While this is slightly reminiscent of Apple's ill-conceived legal attack on Jason O'Grady's PowerPage a number of months ago, Apple has not followed such an agressive and counter-productive defense of its trademarks--what would become of MacInTouch or MacFixIt or Macintosh Resource Page or MacCentral or ... gulp ... Macs Only!?
