"I thought that your readers might like to know that LinksWare, the multimedia program rated 4 stars for ease-of-use by MacWeek, and originally selling for $189, is now being given away for free. It runs on any Mac from the Plus on up; requires at least System 7.1. It can link together text, graphics, movies, sounds, and even scripts. Featured for years on Apple's developer CDs; Dr. Dobbs Journal said it '...should be part of the operating system, no it should be universal.' MacWeek said '...you'll find a lot to like in LinksWare.' Because it is now free, support is no longer being provided."
