Gideon Greenspan emailed me to announce that "...version 1.6.5 of NameCleaner has been released, incorporating some changes designed to improve its performance in large-scale cross-platform conversions, as requested by corporate customers. NameCleaner is a utility to manipulate file names. It's specially designed to help move files to and from foreign file systems such as MS-DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows95, Windows NT, NetWare and Unix."
