Mac OS 8.1 Updater

Many web sites mentioned that Mac OS 8.1 Updater is still on target for a December release. MacCentral has a good summary of what's expected in the update. The main things are Apple's new HFS file system that will use less disk space, an updated Open Transport v1.3 and QuickTime v3.0. The Mac OS 8.1 Updater will be a free download or a $9.95 CD for Mac OS 8 owners.
