Macs Only!

Apple posted a news item with a Friday, December 5th date stating that all 54 of the Apple stores in CompUSA stores had been completed. Not according to readers of Macs Only!. While not every store has had a report, reports over the weekend confirmed that several have a way to go before being finished, at least in the truest sense of the word (construction complete, stocked and staffed). A report on the Pleasanton store, the very first one, continue to mention that no CompUSA employees are in or near the Apple store and none ever approach shoppers for as much as a half hour. Any sales staff at all and an up-to-date and complete software collection continue to be the largest deficiencies. What about post-purchase support? Don Crabb has now jumped on CompUSA over this.
