Mactell announced "... a New Powerful Line of Fully-Loaded, Affordable Entry-Level Mac OS Computers. Breaking through the price/performance barrier XB Tanzania [motherboard] computers ship with a powerful 200 MHz [603e] processor and multimedia features starting under $800. The XB Tanzania 200 desktop comes with 16 MB of EDO RAM(upgradeable to 160 MB), accelerated on board video with 2 MB of VRAM(expandable to 4 MB) , 8x CD-ROM and 1.2 GB of hard drive storage."
