Omega
Today is the first day of Macworld Germany, the day that the German firm Omega is supposed to release its COS (Crypto Operating System). COS is puported to be Mac-compatible and have everything it doesn't, like fully protected memory and true multitasking for $99. Here's the home page which includes a page to download this new software. Several web e-zines as well as MacWEEK have carried this story for months. There is much speculation as to whether this is for real or not. Well, we find out today at noon Dusseldorf time (6am EST).
