PowerLogix's PowerForce G3 250:250 CPU daughtercard (PF) is a marvel. I've used it for a day now and to say that I am impressed is a major understatement. Quite frankly, I didn't believe that it would work well in a cheap PowerBase but I am very pleased to admit that I was wrong. My PowerBase with this card is noticeably faster than my 8500 with a 604e/225 MHz card. Here are the results of some initial tests. I am beginning to think that PowerLogix has a winning alternative to a new computer but I'll be posting a full review after I've used the PF in everyday computing for a week or so.
