Good Apple Store Experience

Frequent readers will remember that I ordered an iBook AC adapter right after Macworld Expo to use with my PowerBook 2400c. The power cord on my 2400 AC adapter is difficult to manage and easily broken. The iBook's AC adapter is like a yo-yo that the cord is wound onto. The Apple Store said 5 days for delivery but I thought that probably wasn't right. Ten days later when I went back, the delivery period had increased to 70 days--that's not the good experience. Today, I got a call from a concerned Apple Store employee. She thought that I might have made a mistake on my order since I hadn't ordered an iBook and that maybe I really wanted a PowerBook AC adapter. She explained that the iBook adapter would not be available until the iBook ships which wasn't for a month or so. I told her why I wanted the iBook adapter and thanked her for her concern. I also mentioned that I thought Apple would sell a lot of them because of the adapter's size, shape and utility of its design.
