iBook Shipping?

A number of iBookListers claimed that Apple told them that they would receive their iBook Wednesday. Others reported that their order status is listed as "Being Assembled". Dan Marschka wrote Macs Only! that, "I spoke with Apple this afternoon (9/20) concerning the status of my iBook order placed July 29th. I was told to look for an email notification and/or call back Wednesday when the order would probably ship. It took me about 25 minutes to get through for this information." Something is happening.
