Microsoft Office 2000, Not For The Mac

Microsoft released Office 2000 for Windows this week with much fanfare. However, there will be no Mac version and there will be incompatibilities as noted on Microsoft's MacTopia. Microsoft has even tried to sugar-coat it in a letter carried on MacInTouch but the fact remains that Microsoft is leaving Mac users out in the cold as even worse second class citizens in the enterprise environment than they were with Office 97. Once again, Microsoft apparently thinks Mac users are complete gullible idiots and will accept the moronic Microsoft "leap-frog" argument.
