Correction--UDP Limited on LINKSYS Etherfast Router

On Monday we noted Kevin Kearney's workaround for using the better streaming QuickTime video protocol, UDP, on the LINKSYS Etherfast router. We tried it and confirmed that it worked. However, we tried only one computer and suggested, erroneously it turns out, that others on a network would likewise be able to use UDP instead of HTTP. A reader, Ed (email handle "edf") noted that he could only get the first computer listed on the Forwarding page in the LINKSYS router's setup utility to work with UDP. Last night we confirmed this limitation. We regret having jumped to a false conclusion. The fault is totally ours.
