Follow Up--Motorola Screw Job?

Following our note on Wednesday, yesterday Dan Knight posted a thoughtful piece on the issue on his excellent Low End Mac site. Dan fingers Apple for canning the PowerMac G3 line when the PowerMac G4 line was introduced, thereby closing out the option to advance to 800 MHz or more with the G3 while the G4 remains mired at 500 MHz. Today, Dan basically argues "so what!"
