Is Apple Terrific or What?

From Roy C. Gosewehr, "Just thought I would let you know that our son took our G4/400 (gigabit Ethernet) to the Bring Your Own Computer section of QuakeCon 2000 in Mesquite, Texas this past weekend. Apple had a full-line user-access table including the new iMacs (every color), a PowerMac G4 Cube, and several of the new gigabit Ethernet G4s (including the higher speed MPs). They were handing out free "X" t-shirts. On Sunday (the last day), Apple gave a set of Harman Kardon Soundsticks (from their display) to my son and to other BYOC Mac owners. To show our appreciation, I immediately ordered a new Apple 15" LCD display. (The Soundsticks are just way too cool to set next to a beige monitor! :-) Many thanks to Steve & Rich for the gift and for the greatApple presence at QuakeCon 2000."
