Steve Jobs received a $30-40 million jet (taxes paid or not?) and an option on 10 million shares of Apple's stock as compensation above his $1 per year salary to be iCEO of Apple. There are those who have carped [Dana Baggett] but Apple's stock value has increased by some $16 billion under his leadership. As I stated when he took over the CEO job, Steve Jobs' fiduciary duty is to the stock holders and they have never had it so good. We who use the finest PCs on the planet have received our due as have those who have newly come to know true elegant simplicity in personal computing. The airplane and stock option compensation is but a fraction of what Steve Jobs is really owed, IMHO.
