Justice Dept. Wants to Split M$ into 3

companies according to yesterday's Washington Post. Two of the companies would have rights to Windows/DOS and a third would have the rest. The two with the OS would be created in order to return competition to the PC OS market. Gates' resignation comes on the heels of this leak but M$ claims the two are not related.
