Mac OS X PB by UPS Also Arriving

From Mark Hennon, "UPS just delivered my OS X beta. I ordered it over the Web with the free delivery option, ORDER DATE: 09/13/00 - 03:52 PM Pacific Standard Time. Since then I've received half-a-dozen emails from Apple with the wrong tracking number etc. Who Cares!! Now I have it!!" Hmm.... For $10 we got ours only a day earlier by FedEx. But wait, it gets worse.

From Brian Nakamoto:

"I ordered OS X PB a couple minutes before 6 AM PDT when the AppleStore finally updated after Steve's keynote. My friend ordered several minutes later. I went with FedEx 3 day hoping to have it delivered by Friday. My friend went with UPS. To my dismay, my friend's OS X PB was delivered by UPS Friday afternoon! (Strangely, it was in a huge box.) My order status on Friday was "Being Assembled" so I called Apple to wait on hold for an hour and find out that they just shipped my order. The Apple rep said that all OS X PB's shipped Friday, to her knowledge, when I inquired as to why my friend received his copy that day. Weird...."

Actually, it's terrific that Apple is being so responsive by quickly getting OS X PB into people's hands.
