according to this Corel press release. M$ bought 24 million shares of Corel but will not vote nor sit on Corel's Board of Directors. Corel will work for Microsoft on its .NET project. Is it a coincidence that Microsoft considers Linux to be its biggest OS competitor and that Corel is the biggest commercial firm producing Linux applications? Is it a coincidence that Corel is in the process of going down the tubes leaving Microsoft as an even bigger monopoly? Oh, sure it is.
