--As expected, there is a new oval mouse that is optical so it has no ball. There is no button as the whole mouse is a button that levers down in the front. It is the highest precision optical mouse on the market and it is standard with all desktop Macs. It will cost $59 alone and will be available separately in December. Those admitted to the keynote got one free as they exited. Unfortunately, a conflict kept me from being there this morning so I'll have to wait with the rest of you. Steve showed a mouse commercial with the music "Born to be Wild." New Keyboard--Apple's standard desktop keyboard has been redesigned and it contains all the keys of the original Apple Extended Keyboard but the color appeared clear and black. It has a disk eject key, for CDs or Zips Jobs didn't say. The keyboard will be for sale for $59 also.
