Retrospect v4.3 Problems, a Solution

From Dana Baggett, "After fruitless efforts to get the Retrospect 4.3 Updater to work - it reported that it could not find the v4.2 "Default Location" - I reinstalled version 4.2 from my CD. I've been using 4.2 upgraded from 4.1 even after I received the 4.2 CD.

After I reinstalled 4.2 from the CD I noticed that the Retrospect folder now had a different appearance. It now sported the 4.2 red shaped logo. And, now the 4.3 Updater worked flawlessly.

Conclusion: Retrospect 4.3 Updater may not run well if it is attempting to upgrade a 4.2 file which itself was upgraded from 4.1."
