SmartDisk Announces VST Portable 100GB FireWire RAID

SmartDisk Corporation announced a 100GB FireWire-based RAID array (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) designed to work with all FireWire-equipped Apple- Macintosh computers. This product was under development by VST Technologies, Inc., a leading FireWire- and USB developer, which was recently acquired by SmartDisk. The VST FireWire RAID array is being demonstrated at the National Association of Broadcasters Expo in Las Vegas this week.
