Apple DVD Player 2.4

, that we first noted yesterday was out via the Software Update control panel, is now available for direct download from Apple's server. People reported having mixed success in getting DVD Player 2.4 via the Software Update control panel of Mac OS 9.x. Dana Baggett had 2.3 on his iBook SE but Software Update reported that all his software was up to date. We had the same problem with one of our Cube partitions that had v2.2.1. We had no problem with another partition that had v2.3.
