DAVE 3.1 Beta is Available

to those who subscribe to Thursby Software's DAVE beta program. DAVE 3.1 Beta works with Mac OS X v10.1 while v3.0.8 does not. We are disappointed in Apple's implementation of SMB used to connect to Wintel shared resources. Windows shared resources frequently fail to show up in the "Connect To Server" window in Mac OS X 10.1 even though if one knows the IP address or SMB path one can connect. DAVE 3.0.8 Beta worked well with Mac OS X 10.0.4. So far we have been unable to download the 3.1 Beta.
