Mail (TiBook) - We are having problems with our mailboxes transplanted from our 10.1.1 installation on our TiBook. We saved the Mail and Preference folders, erased our X partition, reinstalled 10.1, updated through 10.1.2 and copied the Mail and Preference folders into our user's library folder before opening Mail for the first time. The problems that we are having is that mail that we delete keeps returning and some mail that we viewed previously became marked as unread and lost its forward or replied icon. This happens for mailboxes with a lot of messages, like our INBOX, or just a few messages. Rebuilding the mailbox repeats the same problems. We have archived our INBOX messages and deleted and created a new INBOX. So far so good. Unfortunately, Mail is still extrememly low at opening many messages with HTML.

BBEdit Lite 6.1.2 for X (TiBook) quit while trying to launch, probably caused by our copying the app to our new X installation. A reinstall fixed this.

AppleWorks 6.2.2 (TiBook) launched extremely slowly the first time, probably installing some necessary files. Subsequent launches were rapid.

Microtech ZiO! Drivers (TiBook) break. Our USB ZiO! does not work without or with the "new" Microtech drivers. However, we get an error message when we extract a SmartMedia card. This is very disappointing since the drivers just came out a few days ago. Back to booting into 9.2.2 to use our reader. (Confirmed user report--Joe Gudac).

[Update] iPod Connection Kit I with FM Transmitter by Dr. Bott is now shipping. Kit II with a cassette adapter will ship in January.
