From Tony Wight, "I have not yet seen any comment on this on any Mac news sites but HP's printer support for Mac OSs has just returned with a thud. And the new HP LaserJets introduced on April 2nd 2001 are nearly twice as fast as the models they replace---& in some cases a lot cheaper as well. [For example, t]he LaserJet 1200 series starting at $399 list at 15 pages a minute 1200-dpi (!!!!!) including PostScript level 2 emulation has replaced the LaserJet 1100 series at $499 at 8 pages a minute 600-dpi which needed the PowerPrint package to work with Macs at all."
