Mac OS X 10.0.1 Update (Build 4L13)

is available for download via the Software Update application in the System Preferences. It is 4.1 MB. If you previously installed the unofficial 10.0.1 update (Build 4L5 or 4L7) you need to first go to your Library->Receipts folder and delete the "10.0.1Update.pkg" file located there. If you did not apply the unofficial 10.0.1 (Build 4L5 or 4L7) you need to run the Software Update 3 times (otherwise only twice since you have the first package):

1. Installs Software Update 1.3.1 -- No Restart

2. Installs Mac OS X 10.0.1 Update -- Restart

3. Installs Epson Printer Driver Update v1.1 -- Restart

[12:15p] Power Mac G4 667 MHz Gone: As rumored yesterday, this model has been deleted from the Power Mac G4 offerings at The Apple Store as of this morning Pacific Time. We checked last night at publication time and it was still listed. Apple has not announced why the model was dropped but it is likely due to poor sales or a better than expected yield of 733 MHz G4 CPU's. The performance of the single 667 MHz model did not exceed that of the less expensive dual 533 MHz model according to reviews--this may have contributed to its demise.
