Mac OS X -- Interview with Apple's Phil Schiller

CNet's Joe Wilcox, who covers Apple, got an interview with Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President for Worldwide Marketing, and the usual demo partner for Steve Job's Macworld keynote speeches. The initial release on March 24th will include the final version of QuickTime 5 but not iTunes and iMovie. They will come along a little later as downloads according to the article. This also is true for a DVD player and iDVD software. The article also mentions some of the Mac OS X features revised based on Public Beta feedback that Steve Jobs mentioned at Macworld San Francisco. Not mention were symmetric multiprocessing and print drivers other than postscript laserwriters. There will be a press event on March 21st, the article states. That's three days before the release.
