From FirewireDirect's Jeff Questad, "This release makes the FirewireDirect DV WebCam the first cam to be supported on Macintosh OS X...the camera is also going down significantly in price as of the moment of this release.  It will now be (by far) the least expensive Firewire WebCam product available, with full support for all FireWire Windows platforms as well as OS 9.x and OS X." The Mac OS X drivers by IOXperts are available for download.
