Prof. Claude Shannon Dies.

MIT Prof. Emeritus Shannon is considered to be the father of modern digital communications and information theory. See Yahoo News for more details on him. A professorial colleague at MIT said on NPR yesterday afternoon that he was the Einstein of his generation.
