Oral arguments begin today in M$'s appeal to its conviction and penalty for violating the Sherman Antitrust Act. Sunday's Washigton Post article, "Once More Before the Bench", is an excellent and concise summary. Here is a Boston Globe analysis identified by Dana Baggett. [11:20p 2/24] Another TurboTax for Mac Update: From Dana Baggett, "Another significant update for TurboTax for Mac 2000 (nee MacInTax) is available via the one-click update from within the application. The download works well and about 30 items worth about 25 MB are trashed. But, three updates so far - some of which correct bugs in the way the application calculates certain income and deductions - suggest that this year's version didn't get the close attention it should have before it was published. This is particularly consequential when tax authorities are urging that you file early. One could wind up having to file an amended return. Whoops."
