From the Dark Side--Court of Appeals Judges Pile On Judge Jackson in M$ Appeal

The appeals judges seemed more interested in kicking US District Court Judge around the floor than in the criminal conduct he found in ruling that Microsoft violated the Sherman Antitrust Act. As such, they exposed their own bias in handling the appeals case, one reason for the Supreme Court to hear the appeal directly. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court refused. If a judge is biased, judicial ethics require that the judge step down, including appeals court judges. Our judicial system is certainly not distinguishing itself these days. [Dana Baggett]
