Rewind 1.1
is Mac OS 9.1 compatible. When we installed Mac OS 9.1 on our PowerBook 2000, we had problems connecting to servers and Ken Glinka wrote that he had problems mounting CDs. Power On Software wrote Macs Only! that Rewind 1.0.3 is incompatible with Mac OS 9.1 but that company engineers were working on a solution. Just a week later, Power On released Rewind v1.1.
Yesterday we installed Rewind 1.1 Update over v1.0.3 on our PowerBook with Mac OS 9.1. The installer took seconds to replace v1.0.3 with v1.1. After a required restart we deleted the Rewind Emergency Disk and created a new one with Rewind 1.1 and Mac OS 9.1 system folder. We had no problem connecting to another Mac on our LAN or to our iDisk and no problem mounting CDs. Ken Glinka wrote us that v1.1 also fixed his problems running on Mac OS 9.1. Rewind 1.1 has been working perfectly since. The only issue is that Rewind 1.1 deletes the old Rewind logs created by 1.0.3 and starts over again so make sure that your system is working perfectly before upgrading.
