XPlay Technology Preview 1 is Available

for download from Mediafour. XPlay will allow Apple's iPod to be used with Wintels and expand Apple's market. From Mediafour, "Based on MacDrive technology, this preview provides both read and write access to the Apple iPod hard drive for documents and data files, and read-only access to songs that have been preloaded into the iPod using a Macintosh. This XPlay preview (alpha release) is intended as an illustration of the general structure and abilities of XPlay, but is not oryyet a robust solution for use of the iPod with Windows. The next preview release, due out yet this month, will add the ability to add songs to the iPod from Windows."
