AirPort Admin Utility for Windows 1.0
"The AirPort Admin Utility for Windows is an unsupported development version of the AirPort Base Station and AirPort network administration tool that accompanies all Apple AirPort products. This utility allows you to configure Apple's dual Ethernet AirPort Base Station (Snow), create a wireless AirPort network, and provide wireless Internet access from a Windows operating system.
"You can also use the AirPort Admin Utility to configure advanced base station settings such as channel frequency, closed networks, base station density, multicast rate, DHCP lease time, access control, or port mapping.
"This version of the AirPort Admin Utility does not work with the original AirPort Base Station (Graphite).
"This version of the AirPort Admin Utility for Windows requires Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, and a dual Ethernet AirPort Base Station (Snow)."
We downloaded and installed the Windows AirPort Base Station utility on our 633 MHz Compaq Presario running Windows ME. Despite Windows ME being not listed as supported, the utility worked fine on our white AirPort Base Station 2.
