Apple Released Rendezvous' Source Code

according to this Apple press release. In his Macworld NYC 2002 keynote in July, CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple would release the source code for Rendezvous, Apple's software for automatic configuration over networks, for open source development. Yesterday Apple made good. Many major peripherals manufacturers have announced that they would adopt the standard. Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) has Rendezvous built in. [Dana Baggett]
