From the Dark Side--M$ Just Aims to Please, Yeah Right
From a ZDNet article, "The company said [Thomas] Richey [the new M$ federal director of homeland security] would work with policymakers and Microsoft partners to help the government develop its IT framework for homeland security. Microsoft already has several ties to government security efforts. Its former chief security strategist, Howard Schmidt, is vice chairman of the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board." M$ is just being the new good citizen, no conflicts of interest here. M$ is out to help our government into buying tons of M$'s swiss cheese software. [Dana Baggett]
