Improvements for PowerPoint SR 1

Quartz Text Smoothing--If you are using Mac OS X version 10.1.5 or later, PowerPoint X enables Quartz text smoothing by default. Quartz text smoothing makes text more readable by using the Quartz drawing engine to smooth the edges of characters on the screen.

Rotated Text Smoothing--If you use the Free Rotate tool to rotate text on a slide, PowerPoint X will smooth the edges of characters on the screen, making the text more readable. This improvement is not related to Quartz text smoothing, and cannot be turned off.

Stability Improvements--PowerPoint X should now run more smoothly and efficiently due to stability enhancements made in all areas of PowerPoint.

Performance Improvements--Performance when switching between slides and using large or complex pictures has been improved, resulting in faster screen updates and better overall performance.
