M$ Optical Mouse Replacement Program

From the Microsoft web page, "...a small percentage of IntelliMouse Explorer, IntelliMouse Optical and Wheel Mouse Optical mouse products have stopped working or have begun to work intermittently after a period of normal use. Symptoms of this condition may include the cursor not moving, mouse buttons not responding or the red tail-light not illuminating. It is also possible that this condition may cause the computer or an open program to stop responding (hang) during or immediately following mouse movements." One needs to download a replacement coupon and mail in a proof of purchase to get a new mouse. We have this problem with ours.
