PowerLogix Announced Dual 800MHz/1GHz G4 CPU Upgrades

According to their press release the G4 CPU upgrades will work in most Power Mac G4's with an AGP slot, 100 and 133 system bus speeds. The dual 800 MHz model will work in the G4 Cube but the dual 1 GHz model is not recommended for the Cube. All upgrade cards have 2 MB of SDR L3 cache. The SRP for the dual 800 MHz card is $799 and for the dual 1 GHz card is $1,199. Availability is 2-3 weeks.
