PrintToPDF 2.4.1

is available for download. James Walker's $20 shareware application allows one to make PDF files in Classic Mac OS. We use it all the time. Changes in this update:

* There is a new preference to turn off the encoding change for the euro sign that was introduced in version 2.3.1. I know of 2 reasons why you may want to do that: (1) Reportedly, Acrobat Exchange 3.0 is not able to merge PDFs made with this option on. In contrast, Acrobat 4.0 has no problem with them. (2) In PDFs made with this option on, Acrobat Reader renders Palatino text using a multiple-master font rather than true Palatino, making it somewhat less attractive.

* The Maximum Resolution preference menu now lists 150 and 1200 in addition to the previous choices.

* Fixed a bug in processing cross-document links that use absolute paths.
