Along with Apple's iTunes for Windows, Apple Offers Digital Books from Audible but Why?
Audible apparently provided a key feature in making it happen according to this International Herald Tribune article.
"Audible was able to come up with a digital rights management system that worked and made everyone comfortable," said Mary Beth Roche, president of the Audio Publishers Association.
