Apple Pans Proposed Unfair M$-CA Settlement

We noted on Monday that a huge share of the proposed settlement with the State of California for illegal monopolistic activities would actually accrue to Microsoft. In a statement to MacCentral, Apple argued that all of the unclaimed award should go to needy schools with no strings attached rather than just a third with the rest accruing to M$. We certainly agree and hope that the judge who has to review the proposed settlement does too.
