CodeWarrior 9 is Coming Soon

Metrowerks reinforced its position within the Macintosh community with its release of CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS, Version 9. The studio includes a broad array of features that enhance productivity and shorten development cycles, including:

• theMetrowerks PowerPlant™ X C++ framework, which allows developers to write native Mac OS X code using Mac OS X supported features;
• the fastest compiler and build system available for the Mac platform; 
• a feature that provides developers a visual display of their package and allows for easy drag-and-drop of files or folders into the package; and 
• expanded Objective-C code development within the CodeWarrior tool suite.

CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS, v 9 is expected to be available in early September 2003, and may be purchased directly from Metrowerks. Renewal pricing for users of Versions 7 and 8 of the CodeWarrior studio is available. The pre-sale special pricing for new Mac OS developers is $349(USD) per license for the base product (Mac OS X host and Mac OS X target) and $199(USD) for license renewals. Pre-sale pricing is available from August 5 to September 1, 2003. After September 1, 2003, the offering is scheduled to be available at the suggested retail price $399(USD) for the base product.
