Human Genome on an iPod

According to this article, Will Gilbert of the University of New Hampshire downloaded the human genome to his 5 GB iPod along with 300 songs and walked down the hall and uploaded it on another computer. The iPod sneaker net was faster than the wired network. Gilbert plans to get a 10 GB iPod so that he can carry more songs as well as the human genome. [Dana Baggett]
