Installation and Setup.
Installing BackUp Toolkit simply involves copying the correct folder to the computer's hard drive, launching the application and entering the serial number to "register" it. Immediate actions are taken by clicking one of the five buttons on the top of the main widow. Then, just drag and drop the file, folder, volume or disk, or any combinations, to be backed up into the left window and do the same for the destination in the right window. Setting up the automatic backup actions is also just as simple.
The computer and Backup Toolkit application have to be running for the scheduled automatic actions to occur. If one or the other is not available at the selected time, the action occurs at the next opportunity and runs in the background. Backup Toolkit has a cool "iconize" preference that automatically changes the main window into a small icon on the desktop. Click it and the window opens. Of course, one could also just keep the main window minimized in the dock.
