Safari Snubbed by Macromedia? [Update: Nope.]

CNet says so in this article. We visited Macromedia's web site with Safari and it didn't open completely without error. Safari noted one error when it finished but all we got was a gray window with Macromedia's name and a note "Initiating Application Manager." Macromedia claims it is a problem with Safari and Flash. [Update: A large number of readers wrote in at various times today that they had no problem with Macromedia's site with either the officially released build of Safari 0.82 or the unreleased Build 64 with tabs. Some suggested we might have an older version of Flash Player installed. That turned out to be true but when we visited Macromedia's site again this afternoon it worked fine with the latest official Safari release 0.82 and the older Flash Player 6.0 r29 so Macromedia must have fixed whatever the probblem was. The designers at Macromedia use Macs so it was a surprise to us but all seems well now.]
