Apple AirPort Express Update v4.0.1 is Out

and available for download via the Software Update preference pane or this Apple web page. This update is recommended for all customers with AirPort Express base stations. Here's what's new in this version

• Improvements to Profiles support in the AirPort Admin Utility
• Improve handling of WEP keys with third-party access points

We downloaded and installed the update on a 1.5GHz PowerBook G4 and an upgraded 1GHz G4 Cube running off AirPort Expresses. We encountered no problems with either installation or operation. [Dana Baggett]
