More Complex Password Systems Needed? It's Already Happening
according to this AP article on Yahoo News. Hackers and scammers phishing for passwords have triggered a whole new round of security thinking. Getting one-time "throwaway" pass codes sent by a bank or credit card company, a device that creates a new pass codes from a password and entering multiple pass codes with passwords are coming. Already, we can't hardly remember most of the ones we need. Fortunately, so far Mac OS X's Keychain has worked for us with a plethora of passwords increasingly required to access more parts of the worldwide web seemingly every day. [Dana Baggett]
